Top Reasons To Opt For Embroidery Digitizing Software

Enthralling embroidery work can add extra pizazz to any design. Embroidery can be carried out on any design provided that it has been transformed into a format which the embroidery machine can accept and read. Embroidery digitizing refers to the process of converting the design. The embroidery machine deciphers the digitized file to determine the exact position, manner and colors to be used during stitching. The lives of embroiderers have been made easier by the advent of sophisticated embroidery digitizing software. The erstwhile use of the labour intensive thread and needle method is becoming phased out owing to the immense amount of time that went into embroidering even a simple design. Digitizing software bridges the gap between time and efficiency by meticulously generating intricate logo designs with relative ease in the shortest possible time.Another risk that manual operation was subjected to is the very low tolerance level. If an error crept in during the embroidery process, the entire piece of work would be ruined. However, with the intervention of the software such risks have been eliminated. One can rely on the accuracy level of the software to get the exact design embroidered. Top quality embroidery which will comprehensively satisfy clients can be produced with absolute ease and with 100% accuracy. The embroidery digitizing software reproduces a logo with great accuracy. Meticulous details can be added through line art or vector files. The vector files can be produced through premier software such as Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. The digitizing software can also accept other file formats such as tiff, jog, pdf, cdr, ai, hpgl, dxf, etc. It is best to start with high resolution art works. In the event that the file is of poor resolution, the embroidery digitizers would have to recreate the design. If one is not in possession of vector art, the blueprint available at hand can be fed to the digitizing software to interpret it and come up with a redrawn image file.An embroidery digitizing program is of great assistance to embroiderers who work on creating awesome logo designs. The digitizing software is comprised of various modules which facilitate the artists in drawing, digitizing and monogramming the design at hand. Each sub module of the main software possesses an array of helpful tools. Such powerful tools allow the embroiderers to produce, edit or fine tune the submitted artwork. The software comes accompanied with useful lessons and tips which will ease the process of mastering individual modules and putting them to work. The computer which will be used along with the embroidery digitizing machine needs to be compatible with it to easily transmit instructions generated by the software to the machine. This will result in maximum efficiency. The digital embroidery cards should be suited to the purpose. Embroidery digitizing is a complex process which has been streamlined to a large extent by the advent of state of the art digitizing software. The software spells success for both digitizers and clients.

Here’s To Your Health – Own A Cat

I have always owned dogs, but, recently I have learned, mainly from females influential in my life, the wonder and magic of cats and what they have to offer which is much. A lot of men are ware of cats, perhaps because “dog is man’s best friend”, which we learn from childhood, but, I’ve also learned, so can a cat. Though not always, a cat can be a bit more standoffish than a dog. Patience is required in cases like this. Many cats love their independence and one must “earn their trust”. Once you have, many cats will follow you around like a dog. Of course, most dog owners know it is “love at first bite…of food”. Whomever feeds them is their new mommy or daddy, whereas, with many cats, the first few months is spent trying to figure out what value is there in owning this feline anyway. But as one owns a cat for awhile, it realizes this cat is an amazing intelligent creature, and can be just as loyal if not more so than a dog. Of the many cats I’ve owned, it has not taken more than a few days for them to want to curl up in my lap and rub its head continuously in a loving way (not to mention sleep on the pillow next to me no matter what). Many of us struggle with health issues. A cat can be a wonderful therapist, doctor, or other type healer. Many people are unable to own dogs for various reasons, from apartment policies to travel, whereas a cat can be left alone for much longer and be ok. Cat ownership has been medical proven to help everything from high blood pressure to depression to even severe anxiety. Like dogs, cats have an amazing sixth sense, of how you are feeling. Unconditional love eventually evolves from most domestic cats given time. Patience can be the key. Some cats exhibit it right away. Some ask us to earn it.Alas, cats, like dogs, make the world a much better place. Except for babies, and even babies have “their conditions”; really only domestic animals such as dogs and cats can teach us what unconditional love. I was very skeptical of all this upon learning the importance of animal care. I had read a lot but still did not believe the statistics much less the testimonials. Then I tried it, owning both dogs and cats all my adult life. It has enhanced my life like nothing else. You may find yourself saying, “I haven’t noticed any positive changes in myself”. But it doesn’t matter. They have already happened. Dog and cat ownership and care offer us the same paradigm shift of behavior that a newborn baby does. It offers us a chance to redirect much of our energies into a living loving creature that is there for us all the time. Yes we are there for it too, but not all the time. It does not care. If you give it a little attention, love and affection, it will give back in time, more than you ever gave it. Many times more in ways you never imagined.Rick London is a cartoonist/entrepreneur and animal-lover. He founded Londons Times Cartoons, one of the Internet’s most visited websites. Many of his cartoons and cartoon gifts and collectibles are cat and dog related. A percentage of those sales go to help stray animals and educate on animal-care.

Health Care Reform is Here

Health care reform became law on March 23. There are many questions that have yet to be answered, and IQHSA.com has been hard at work to determine how health care reform will affect you and your business. Many specifics of the different reform provisions remain undefined. Due to how the law was written, there is ambiguity and a need for regulatory agencies to provide clarification. In the months and years ahead, we expect federal agencies to issue regulations and guidance on many aspects of the legislation. Here are seven key health care reform components effective this year:1. Small Business Tax Credits – Small businesses up to 25 employees could be eligible for tax credits for the coverage they offer employees.2. Dependent Coverage – Many health insurance carriers have been early adopters of the law that makes health insurance coverage available to adult children up to age 26. These dependent coverage benefits are now available.3. Grandfathering of Existing Policies – This is the “keep the plan you’re on” language used during the reform debate. The law provides that grandfathered plans – plans that were in effect at the time the law was signed on March 23, 2010 – do not need to comply with certain reform requirements (although many apply to grandfathered plans as well). Regulations are expected to clarify what changes can be made to plans without jeopardizing grandfathered status.4. High Risk Pool – The new law requires that health insurers must offer coverage to anyone regardless of health status, and that goes into effect in 2014. High-risk pools are being developed in the interim to insure those who don’t currently qualify for health insurance. While some states already have high-risk pools, Arizona doesn’t. Gov. Jan Brewer has already replied to the Department of Health and Human Services that Arizona – which had the option to create its own high-risk pool or defer to a national pool – cannot afford to create one.5. Mini Exchange – Now commonly referred to as “The Web portal,” this is a first step in the reform legislation that aims to assist consumers by providing private health insurance coverage information (the full exchange will be activated in 2014). Regulations have been issued that define the information insurers and others are required to submit to HHS and many health insurance carriers are compiling the information necessary to meet the May 21, 2010, submission deadline for Phase I.6. Reinsurance for Early Retirees – Health care reform legislation provides for the establishment of a temporary reinsurance program to reimburse participating employment based plans for a portion of the cost of providing health insurance coverage to early retirees. Final regulations have recently been issued that provide more details about the program and the application and claims submission processes.7. Medical Loss Ratios – The affect of the federal law aimed at keeping health insurers’ administrative costs in check is unclear, in part because federal definitions of how carriers will have to calculate medical loss ratios haven’t been determined. We will continue to bring you all the latest on health care reform but in the meantime we invite your comments and questions at IQHSA.com.

Hard Money Commercial Loans – Best Alternative

Hard money commercial loans should only be considered after the borrower has done an extensive amount of research with other sources such as banks and conventional lenders. Borrowers should submit their file to at least 10 of these traditional sources (or have an experienced broker run the file) before they consider hard money. Why? Hard money is very expensive. Market rates are currently 15% interest only with 6 points on the front of the loan. And the term is normally short at 12 – 36 months. The alternatives for the borrower however, are always more expensive than taking a hard money loan. In general, the borrower has three outcomes:
1. Take on a partner
2. Lose the property
3. Lose the business and or a combination of 2 and 3.If your property has 50% equity that you stand to lose through foreclosure vs. paying a hard money commercial lender 6% to carry you for 2 or 3 more years, the choice is obvious. But it’s a choice that the borrower has to face up to, and accept their current situation for what it is – and make the best decision for them based on their current options.Taking on a partner can often be the worst move for the borrower. Rushing in and taking on a new partner just because they have cash, can result in additional legal issues besides just foreclosure. In addition, as in the example above, it can be much more expensive than as the borrower will often have to give up a large percentage of their business and or equity in their property.Hard money lenders take a lot of slack in the business as being overly greedy or aggressive, but borrowers should realize how much risk they actually take on with these loans. Foreclosure is an all too often outcome for many of these deals. The typical cost to go through the foreclosure process for the lender, general falls within 20% of the total value of the property. And that process only gives the lender control over the property; it has not been liquidated. The lender still has to go through the process to sell it to get there capital back. As you know, the process to sell can take 6 – 24 months or longer. Keep in mind as well, that the lender often borrows their own capital through a warehouse line or the like that they have monthly payments on, which put additional pressure on them. It’s no cake walk for them either. In short, this risk is why the rates and fees are as high as they are. So yes hard money commercial loans are expensive but they normally are the most viable option that borrower has.

Are Economic Factors Changing The Concept of Quality in Small Business Environment?

What exactly does “Quality” mean for small businesses? Has the economic downturn over the past 6 years changed the definition of quality relative to small business’s delivery of products and services? Is quality, the major driver in delivering and selling to businesses? Are consumers now willing to compromise on quality, to save money? How much will small businesses and individuals tolerate in diminished services or product quality and decide less quality is more important if they can save money?I recently met with an acquaintance that operates a small commercial oriented service business. He was lamenting that 10 years ago he launched into a program whereby he structured his company to deliver the highest quality service to his industrial customers. His quality goals were defined based upon what the customers told him were their highest priorities for good product and service qualities. Those attributes were (in order of preferences): timely responses to their requests, error free production/finished product, on-time delivery of the product/service, and fair pricing for their quality demands. It is important to note that fair pricing was not defined as being the cheapest.Today, he is finding those customers that said, ” we buy only quality products and services” are now doing business with vendors offering rock bottom pricing. To get rock bottom pricing quality has suffered; flaws are tolerated. Some small companies are now working with vendors that are moonlighting to pick up a little extra cash and may lack experience working with the latest software technology, equipment, and materials. So, what has happened in the small business sector, relative to the pride a vendor once took in high quality personalized service with a commensurate return? They seem to have vanished; at least for the time being.Conversely, some large manufacturers found a component of quality to mean, components delivered on-time/just-in-time saves them money and equates into sales. Does this example also apply to small businesses across the board, well, maybe not? But there are disconnects; just look at the GM issue of late, where quality was not worth the expense (at the time). This aside, it does seem quality is no longer the coin of the realm with small commercial service businesses. They may look at quality as a product component that is hard to justify on a revenue basis. Some managers might think they can fine tune the service or product quality in house and not pay the vendor for a high level of quality.Businesses catering to the end user of products and services still demand quality. But, most of them offer product and services that are focused on high touch and personal attention to details industries. This quality is not inexpensive to deliver.Could all the changes in small business methods, with pressure on costs, be forcing a new definition of how small business develops their pricing for various levels of quality? I guess if the service or product isn’t life threatening it could slip on the” need for quality” scale. Offer quality but at a premium; let the customer decide what price quality is worth.I think discussions about quality from a small business perspective need to be targeted; defining exactly what elements of quality are worthwhile? As standalone considerations, such things as-glitz, glamour, individualized services, and attention to detail may not add anything to perceived quality. For example, the precision delivered in a service product maybe isn’t appreciated or needed. Therefore, maybe this is just one example where companies are trading with vendors based on cost and less on quality. Some companies are picking apart the elements of quality being offered to them and settling for a lot less of quality. It is hard to really understand all the issues involved in small businesses purchasing services and products with the primary consideration being quality. Now the question is: Why does there seem to be a shift in small businesses buying services that are primarily price driven? Quantitative data seems to indicate there is a shift from the holy grail of quality. And, we do recognize, there are still a plethora of companies offering services and product purely based on quality. For example, there are some hotels and car companies having a nice customer niche based on quality; those markets being consumer and extremely large. Everyone could probably agree that any service and product could have such quality if their market would be broad enough to support such quality.Gucci had a corporate mantra that said: Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten. Of course that was their market and it is still large. Maybe the 1% is enough to support that kind of quality. For small businesses today, owners must balance costs, revenue demands, marketplace, competition and sophistication of the marketplace. If adding elements of quality to the product line do not generate enough revenue to cover incremental cost, then redefine quality. Quality is in the eye of the beholder. I would imagine a farrier (installer of horseshoes) isn’t concerned about the packaging, website, product guarantees, or hand polished horseshoes. He just wants horseshoes at a competitive (lowest) price and from a supplier that keeps them on hand. Some thoughts on quality:
Quality has a myriad of definitions and quality definitions are industry specific and customer dependent. Maybe quality in an industry is simply having a human answer the phone… thinking of the DMV.

The customer will always dictate quality levels.

Don’t expect the quality to be free; there are no free lunches. Quality does impact margins.
I can remember in the early dot com boom, as a vendor and customer, quality was measured by such things as how expensive were the give-a-ways, how costly were entertainment bills, running online ads no matter the end results and justifying expensive tracking programs and site designs for no substantiate reason. So glitz, glamour, service, and value of the end results were components of what we thought was quality. Is that your definition of quality today? Quality in today’s business environment is being re-evaluated relative to costs and revenue impact.

A Payday Loan Is Not A Shopper’s Friend

What not to do with a payday loan? Shopping for items you don’t even need is a great example of what not to get a low cost payday loan for, but some people still do. If an individual has the income to support the payoff, I guess it is not a horrible idea, but most people do not and that is just a bad financial decision. The economy is in a crisis yet people continue spending. Most people who look to financial loan lenders for help are not looking to head out shopping. There are unexpected bills which need to be paid just to keep the household running. As with any budget, the hard questions of, “Do I want it?” or “Do I need it?” will help to limit needless spending. “Can I afford it?” is another great question to ask yourself. Getting a fast loan to cover a cost of something which you cannot afford to pay back, is not affording the item. If you have to borrow money or use a credit card to make the purchase, you cannot afford the item.Hard questions can continue, especially for those who love to shop and do it often.”Do I already own something similar that could work in its place?” “Could I wait for this item until it goes on sale or until I can save enough to purchase it without help?”"Do I really need it right now?”"Is there a cheaper substitute I can find elsewhere?”"Will I regret buying it after I get home?”Whether or not you need a low cost payday loan or not, excessive shopping can ruin any person’s budget. Practice a little patience. Leave the item on the shelf as you walk around the store asking yourself these questions. Impulsive purchasing will cause problems, if you still want that item a week later and continue to feel as strongly about it as you do, chances are you will end up getting it. Maybe by then there will be a sale, or you might have received your next paycheck so there is no need to borrow money. In fact, if you hold off a bit longer, you may be able to save up enough to cover the costs without having to jeopardize other payments.A payday loan does not guarantee affordability. There are good reasons why someone should apply for a low cost online payday loan. There are many more reasons why someone should not apply for one. Getting help for your finances is a serious matter and why is why a credible lender shouldn’t loan to just anyone. The last thing the company wants is for an individual to destroy future funding for the cost of a short-term loan. Yes, the rates are higher than regular loans, but the risk involved for loaning without credit checks is part of the compromise. A person with bad credit can get financial help, but at a cost. The cost helps offset the risk of the company. Responsible payday loan lenders deny applications that do not fulfill qualification status.

Self Employed Insurance – Understanding Basic Plans

Self employed insurance is something many self employed individuals tend to forget about.  Many people would love to be self employed.  The thought of being self employed evokes images of freedom.  The ability to be your own boss and set your own hours is very appealing to many.  With the advent of the Internet, the ability to become self employed has increased significantly.  As of 2007, there are approximately 10.5 million self employed people in the US.  But the down falls of being self employed also means you do not have the benefits of a traditional job.Choosing self-employment insurance can be a daunting task to say the least.  There are so many options and so many different circumstances to deal with.  Insurance companies like Blue Cross and Blue Shield have comparable pricing plans and options specific to your area.  But before you even choose a self employed insurance plan, you must first understand the different types of plans out there.  This will give you a better way of comparing rates when talking to the different insurance companies and will allow you to compare apples to apples. The typical plans available for self employed insurance is the same as those in a traditional job.  First you have to be aware that they, the insurance companies, like to use acronyms.  HMO stands for Health Maintenance Organization.  This is a health care system that has guidelines for which the physicians have to operate under.  HMO costs are generally less then other plans with the trade off of limited range of treatments available.  PPO is a Preferred Provider Organization, which has a list of physicians that have agreed to see the patients covered under their insurance at a discounted as an incentive to get people to participate within their network.  Unlike HMO, PPO’s allow patients to see physicians outside of their network as well.  The simplest plan is called the POS or Point of Service.  This plan allows the insured to choose a physician that accepts your insurance.  A lot of times these physicians are called in network physicians.  This plan attempts to combine the freedom of a PPO with the lower cost of an HMO.When calling the different agencies about self employment insurance, one should price out the different plans and options for their specific area. Self employed insurance doesn’t have to be ignored with the thoughts that it’s too expensive or that it doesn’t apply to someone who is self employed.  Finding a reputable health insurance agent who can go through your different options in detail will help you understand exactly what you are buying.  Interview different agents and compare the price and plans for their self employed insurance.  The more educated you are in what is available, the more comfortable you will feel about what you are paying for.

Leading Yoga Gurus Distort Yoga Breathing Essence

Yoga is an amazing ancient practice that can profoundly change health in the sick and mildly sick people. In the past, yoga masters and teachers were more successful in their treatment of various chronic conditions. However, these days, the benefits, due to modern yoga practice, are very limited. Only a small number of people are able to improve their health.Breathing was the foundation of yoga, especially hatha yoga (which is considered as yoga for physical health). [Correct breathing has always been the essence of hatha yoga.]There are several areas related to breathing which are misunderstood by modern yoga gurus and teachers, including Iyengar, Birkam Choudhury and thousands of other yoga practitioners and leaders. It is correct and in agreement with medical research that breathing at rest should be mainly diaphragmatic. However, breathing is about oxygen and carbon dioxide transport. Both these chemicals are required by body cells all the time. Hence, the essence of breathing is not in some breath work, but in an automatic or unconscious breathing pattern, which is going on constantly.Ancient Sanscrit manuscripts on Hatha Yoga (the Gheranda Samhita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the Shiva Samhita) claim that the purpose of yoga breathing routines is to “hold”, “restrain”, “suspend”, and “calm” the breath without any reference to expulsion of any toxins from the lungs. (Clearly, if one restrains or calms the breath, his or her body CO2 level increases). What about teaching of modern yoga leaders? The confusion of modern yoga gurus (and their pupils and students) is evident in the following statements.1. Modern yoga gurus suggest that in order to increase body oxygen levels, one should have maximum inhalations so that all areas of the lungs get fresh air supply. This is nonsense since with tiny normal breathing (500 ml for one breath), human arterial blood is almost completely (about 98-99%) saturated with oxygen.
2. Modern yoga gurus claim that CO2 (carbon dioxide) is a waste gas and, hence, it is good to expel it from the body cells. Hundreds of research articles have found that normal CO2 levels in the arterial blood and body cells is imperative for health. (We simply die in minutes if gets below 10-15 mm Hg.)
3. Yoga gurus assume that only breathing exercises matter, while our automatic or basal breathing patterns are not important or that our automatic pattern should deep in both senses (first, with the use of the diaphragm; second, with a large tidal volume for each breath)
4. They do not provide any specific parameters or numbers related to normal or ideal automatic breathing patterns at rest (normal and ideal respiratory frequency, normal and ideal minute ventilation, and so forth) for maximum body oxygen content.
5. They do not provide even the direction to go in relation to basal or automatic breathing. Should we breathe more air or less, faster or slower?
6. Most yoga leader and students assume that it is possible to have slow but deep (large) breathing. This is another fantasy since when people start to breathe slower, their breathing also becomes more shallow (reduced tidal volume or amount of air per one breath). Vice versa, when one’s breathing pattern at rest is fast, it is automatically deep (large tidal ). (This is exactly what we can see in the sick and severely sick people: deep breathing 24/7.)These topics are crucial since low body oxygen levels are in the foundation of chronic diseases (cancer, heart disease, asthma, COPD, and many others). Furthermore, one may do any breathing exercises for 1, 2 or even 3 hours every day, but it is more important how he or she breaths during remaining part of the day, especially during early morning hours since statistic of mortality indicates that the severely and critically ill people are most likely to die from 4 to 7 am due to severe disturbances in blood gases and cell oxygenation, regardless of the name of the disease and medical diagnosis.Professional medical investigations related to automatic breathing patterns and CO2There is a certain normal breathing pattern at rest that corresponds to 10-12 breaths per minute for respiratory frequency, 6 L/min for minute ventilation, 500-600 ml for tidal volume and about 40 mm Hg for arterial CO2 tension.Breathing more than the metabolic needs of the human body is called hyperventilation. The average minute ventilation for modern “normal subjects” at rest, according to over 20 medical research articles, is about 11-12 L/min. (Note that 70-80 years ago it was about 4-5 L/min.) People with chronic diseases breathe even heavier.Hyperventilation cannot improve blood oxygenation to any significant degree since our arterial blood is up to 98-99% saturated with oxygen during tiny normal breathing. Hence, the main biochemical effect of hyperventilation is excessive removal of CO2 leading to constriction of arteries and arterioles (CO2 is a powerful vasodilator) and the suppressed Bohr effect (less O2 is actually released within cells at reduced body CO2 levels). Consequently, the less we breathe (we are talking only about unconscious breathing), the more oxygen is provided for the body cells.Additional established benefits associated with CO2 are: sedative or calmative influences on nerve cells, bronchodilation (dilation of airways), potent antioxidant capabilities (suppression of free radicals), powerful muscle tissue relaxant, ability to recover lungs and other tissues, regulator of numerous chemical reactions considering that life on Earth had been developing at quite high CO2 (up to 7-12% throughout development of very first lungs about 2-2.5 billions years ago). Most of these discoveries were made many years ago by leading Soviet physiologist Dr. Konstantin Buteyko, MD, PhD, who was a devoted hatha yoga student. He presented this research to Moscow University scientists during his Lecture that was later published in the popular Soviet magazine “Science and life”.
